Mike and Ike from Just Born

Mike & IkeIn 1940 Just Born introduced a fruit-flavoured range of candy called Mike and Ike. 70+ years later it is now one of the most recognsiable candy brands in America, if not the world. Here at American Soda, we LOVE Mike and Ike candy, so much so that we strive to get every new flavour combination the company produces.

The Mike and Ike characters split up in 2012 due to creative differences as part of a clever advertising campaign. As part of the promotion, every box of Mike and Ike candy had one or the other name scratched out, presumably by the other - see the image on the right!

In 2013, Just Born announced that the pair are getting back together. Fans of Mike and Ike are rejoicing at the news. We're just enjoying the movie trailer style ad campaign they've put together. Watch it for yourself in the Video tab!
