Description: Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in this classic American soft drink and you have yourself the classic root beer float! One hot day in June of 1919, in Lodi, California, an entrepreneur named Roy Allen mixed up a batch of creamy root beer and sold the first frosty mug of this delightful beverage for one nickel!

Drinking this brings back great memories of when i visit the states. This is my favourite brand by far. A lovely taste and a great refreshing drink.
just can't get enough of the stuff.. i drank 24 cans in 3 days.. tastes awesome when perfectly chilled for these lovely hot days!
just as i remeber and just as refreshing great
delicious!!!! i could drink this beverage by the gallon and not get sick of it!
this is what I remember from my childhood in Canada, and its every bit as great as I rememer! After years of settling for Carters etc over here I had forgotten how good Root Beer could taste :D Have tried Barqs (not as good) and Mug (NEARLY as good) but A&W still wins for me.. Not tried IBC yet but unless its truly awesome I suspect the extra cost will lead me back to A&W in the long run :P
Got a friend who just adores this stuff?
