Tried this after getting into root beer via Mug. This has a similar taste but contains caffeine which could be viewed as a downside - but it's still one fantastic drink.

I think that Barq's has become my favourite Root Beer. My son prefer's IBC. My daughter prefers A&W. I think the one everyone likes is MUG .. but seeing as we haven't tried it yet we're going to give Stewarts Root Beer a try! However if this is your first attempt at Root Beer .. then I'd say Barq's is the one!! As it says on the can .. it has bite! In any case .. I had Root Beer first in the USA aged 10 many many moons ago .. so I'm just happy that American Soda has brought it over here! I just can't understand why our supermarkets haven't cottoned on! So .. Shhh! Keep it a secret!!

last february i stayed with my big sister and bro in law in denver where i went to king supers every day and bought just about every type of soda going. upon my return i realised that i had become somewhat of a root beer addict and find myself craving it daily! after trying every obtainable root beer in america i found the very finest to be either Stewarts or Barq's however with 4 bottles of Stewarts costing nearly 6 bucks and 12 cans of Barq's costing i think 3.50, Barq's is the clear choice! being back home i am so glad to have American Soda to see to my soda needs, it may be a little bit more expensive but with customer service to rival the americans its a pleasure to do business. Thankyou Dave

I have had, IBC, A&W, mug, stewart's, Jones', dad's ,spruchers, faygo, carter's (if you can call it root beer) and bundaberg root beers.... barqs is the best you can get in a can/bottle (draught wins but they can't ship me that) upsetting that it's made by coca-cola but this is the greatest beverage known to man.
