We currently use a 100% secure Credit and Debit card payment processor, Paypal Pro, for your safety and convenience. We also accept payments using Paypal if you have an account and if you would like to pay over the phone, that is fine, simply call the order hotline on 0161 359 3655.
American Soda is now participating in Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for added online payment security. These services are offered by Visa and MasterCard, in association with the bank that has issued your credit / debit card. It is aimed at protecting your details when shopping online by ensuring your card is not being used by someone else and is becoming a standard across all shopping websites.
Your order will generally be processed within 3 to 5 workdays and delivered within a week at most. We will inform you by email should an article be temporarily unavailable. We reserve the right to partial delivery (no additional cost) if an article is temporarily unavailable.
If your order is delayed we will naturally advise you or if you have not received any goods within 14 days please contact us. We will try and give you an accurate delivery date however in extreme cases this may not be possible.
All stock information is only to be used as a guide and cannot be guaranteed.
When an order is placed you will receive an order confirmation by e mail. When we have dispatched your order you will receive an email with a link for you to be able to track your parcel. All our orders are fully trackable which allows us to offer a better service.
International orders may take longer to arrive due to customs delays etc. Countries such as Norway are well known for customs delays and it is not infrequent for deliveries to take up to 6 weeks to arrive! We will not be held responsible in any way for any delays and subsequent issues with the sell by dates / product condition. Please note that we can not be held responsible for any additional taxes or duty/import charges that may be charged to a recipient of a parcel for overseas customers. If you unsure if you are likely to be charged we recommend that you contact your country’s customs service before placing your order.
Please note that the American Soda will not and can not be held liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer for any failure to meet an estimated delivery date.
The purchaser is bound to inspect the condition of the packaging of the goods upon delivery. In the event that an order is received and there is a discrepancy as to a missing item, a claim must be submitted within one week, (7 days) of physical receipt. In the event that a product is received in unusable condition, for reasons other than extremes of temperature, a claim must be submitted within 1 week, (7 days), after physical receipt of merchandise. Please note that we do our best to pack your order in such a way that damage should not occur in transit. In the event that your item has been damaged we will do our best to remedy the situation quickly for you.
Should your item arrive damaged please do not dispose of the item before contacting us as we may require photographic proof of any damage in order to make a claim for the damages!
In the unlikely event that you may wish to return any product our terms are that We will refund the cost of all merchandise received in unopened and undamaged condition, however, we will not refund the cost of shipping unless agreed otherwise. Sorry, no returns are accepted without prior approval and no returns after 7 days of receipt. All returned merchandise must be shipped by the customer and this postage cost is not refundable unless agreed otherwise. Due to health regulations, we are not able to accept any food based merchandise where original packaging is not FULLY intact.

If, for some reason, you wish to cancel an order then you MUST contact us within 24 hours of placing the order. Our packing and shipping is extremely efficient and we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped and you wish to return the items for a refund then please see our Returns section above.
Should your order contain items that are out of stock at the time of shipping, we will issue a full refund within 3-5 days and you will receive an email informing you of this from our Customer Service team.
WARNING: During the summer months some products, especially confectionary, may melt during transport. All orders containing such products are shipped at the CUSTOMERS OWN RISK.
We store our chocolate products in temperature controlled units during spells of hot weather in order to keep these products in good condition. However, once shipped we are unable to control the temperature that the goods are shipped at and therefore we are unable to take responsibility for items that, once delivered, turn out to have suffered any type of heat damage.
All prices you see on the website are inclusive of VAT, what you see is what you pay.
We use the data that you gave during the order process in order to complete your order. You have the right to view, change or delete this data at anytime, please contact us if you wish to discuss or implement any of the aforementioned options.
We do not give your data to any third party apart from our logistics company so that they can deliver your order and our credit institutions so that they can procure payment.
